Peristaltic filling
for mobile liquids and light oils
In a peristaltic
filler the fluid is transported within flexible tubing by
manipulating the exterior walls.
This produces a completely closed system, eliminates the risk
of cross contamination and is therefore ideally suited to
pharmaceutical laboratory and small industrial applications.
The tubing is compressed
in a forward motion, with the piece of tube acting as a valve
as well as the transport mechanism. The fluid to be filled
is contained within the tube from the infeed to the filling
needle.
As all fluids are
contained within this closed system, all that is required
to change products is simply to exchange the tubing and the
filling needle; a process that can be completed in under one
minute.
Peristaltic pumping
is excellent for filling liquids. It is gentle on the product
and ideal for transporting sensitive substances very hygienically.

Pump Dispenser
 Description
The liquid comes into contact with only one uninterrupted
length of silicone or special viton tubing which will withstand
repeated sterilisation. Bacteriological in-line filtration
can be performed at the outlet side of the pump.
The machine comes with a two-roller pump, footswitch and two
and a half metre lengths of three sizes of silicone tubing.

Adelphi XY Distributor
Description
The XY Distributor used in
conjunction with the Peristaltic Dispenser enables bottles
filled in trays to be filled automatically.
All the operator has to do is place a tray of empty bottles
in position and press the ‘start’ button. The
filling head fills the same amount into each bottle automatically.
Setting up is easy using the menu-
driven LCD display. Adjustable trays are supplied so that
bottles are held in an orderly fashion. For odd shapes or
very small bottles divided trays are available. The positional
accuracy of the machine exceeds that of the bottles, a minimum
neck diameter of 6.5 mm is required.
